Tottenham Hotspur drew 1-1 with West Brom this afternoon.
Tottenham Hotspur have taken their unbeaten record to 14 league games after a 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.
Spurs could have gone in to the top four today with a win at The Hawthorns, but couldn't grab a win over the Baggies earlier today.
It started so well for Spurs as Dele Alli turned the ball home after a superb long pass from defender Toby Alderweireld, with the teenage midfielder continuing to impress in his debut Premier League campaign.
However, Tottenham were pegged back as James McClean headed home at the back post following neat work down the right hand side of the West Brom attack.
Spurs looked for a winner in the second period but couldn't find one, whilst they had goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to thank after a crucial close range save from Jonas Olsson's header.
After the game, manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the club's official Twitter account about the game, stating that it was a 'very difficult' encounter considering the terrible conditions, but he is happy that his players battled through to get a point.
The Argentine did though add that he was a little disappointed to have only taken a point having initially been in front in the first half.
