Jonny Evans praises Hugo Lloris's 'amazing' save against West Brom

Hugo Lloris

The West Brom defender praised Tottenham's goalkeeper after the two Premier League sides drew 1-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Jonny Evans heaped praise on Hugo Lloris after the Tottenham Hotspur shot stopper's 'amazing save' in the second half.

Indeed, Tottenham took the lead at West Brom on Saturday afternoon but Tony Pulis's side ultimately earned a 1-1 draw - and could have won the game were it not for a trademark Lloris stop.

Will Spurs fans be disappointed after dropping points at the Hawthorns? Following their 0-0 draw with Chelsea, it's their second stalemate in a row but, importantly, Mauricio Pochettino's men are still unbeaten since the opening day of the Premier League season.

Having quality within the north London side such as Lloris, meanwhile, means Tottenham can pick up a point where they might not have otherwise.

Next up for Spurs is a Europa League clash against Monaco - with the White Hart Lane outfit already having qualified from their group, before they host Newcastle United in the Premier League. West Brom travel to Liverpool next.

Do you think a draw was a fair result or should West Brom or Tottenham have taken all three points at the Hawthorns?
