The Aston Villa loanee - and his Villa-supporting team-mate - brought some joy to fans of his parent club on Saturday afternoon.
Aston Villa fans received a rare boost on Saturday afternoon when they saw their side draw 1-1 with Southampton in the Premier League.
But there was more good news for the Midlands outfit in the Championship.
Indeed, Huddersfield Town beat Birmingham City as boss David Wagner tries to stamp his mark on the second tier of English football.
On the winning side were Aston Villa-supporting Joe Lolley - and Aston Villa-owned Jed Steer. Both took to Twitter, with Lolley understandably pleased on social media:
Yess!! Buzzing, great 3 points and 2 in 2 in front of the tilton and all my family— Joe Lolley (@Lolleyj10) December 5, 2015
Steer, meanwhile, couldn't help but highlight how much it meant to an Aston Villa and Huddersfield man to beat Birmingham.
His side were 2-0 winners - and Villa fans certainly responded kindly to his gesture on Twitter.
Birmingham fall to seventh, outside the play-offs, after the defeat, which will no doubt give the Aston Villa faithful even more satisfaction.
Huddersfield, meanwhile, move up to 19th after the morale-boosting win. A good Saturday for the Villa, then, but certainly not the Blues from Birmingham. But will both teams still end up in the same division next season - or possibly even swap leagues?
