Tottenham Hotspur are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment.

Garth Crooks said on BBC Final Score on Saturday afternoon that Tottenham Hotspur are not good enough to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.

The former Tottenham striker made his comments following Spurs’ 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion away from home at The Hawthorns in the league.

"For me, Tottenham don't have a chance of making the top four,” said Crooks on BBC Final Score on Saturday afternoon. “They are a top-six side, nothing more.”

Crooks seems to be quite confident about Tottenham not being good enough to claim a Champions League spot.

One can understand his stance given Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s disappointing performance against West Brom, but it is too early to write them off.

As things stand, the North London outfit are only three points behind fourth-place Manchester United.

Moreover, Spurs have not lost a game in the Premier League since the opening weekend of the season.

Tottenham will return to action on Thursday evening when they take on AS Monaco at White Hart Lane in the Europa League Group J.
