Southampton are reeling after a 6-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night, and Ronald Koeman's men certainly need a response this afternoon against Aston Villa.
Koeman isn't panicking, having named a very familiar line up. Virgil van Dijk and Jose Fonte continue in the heart of defence, whilst Ryan Bertrand and Cedric will play at full back.
The dangerous attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Dusan Tadic and Graziano Pelle will be looking to cause problems for the Villa defence, whilst ex-Villa midfielder Steven Davis starts.
Koeman also has the likes of Steven Caulker, Jordy Clasie and Shane Long on the bench in a strong Saints 18 this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa are searching for just their second win of the season as they desperately look to pick up points.
The Premier League's bottom club lost 3-2 to Watford last weekend, and Remi Garde must start winning games sooner rather than later if Villa are to stay up.
Kieran Richardson has been dropped to the bench, with Alan Hutton seemingly switching over to the left back role, as Leandro Bacuna comes in at right back.
Meanwhile, Jores Okore comes in at centre back in place of the absent Micah Richards, with Joleon Lescott also in the side.
In attack, Scott Sinclair, Rudy Gestede and Jordan Ayew will be looking to provide the goals for Villa today, with Gabriel Agbonlahor, Carles Gil and Adama Traore all left on the bench this afternoon.
