Liverpool are also said to be keen on the player.

In the summer Celtic pulled off what looked an impressive deal for Croatian Under-21 international defender Jozo Simunovic.

The 21-year-old joined the club from Dinamo Zagreb in September and looks to be an excellent talent.

Reports in Croatia today are now reporting that Celtic are keen on bringing in another young player from Dinamo.

Vecernji List are reporting that Celtic have been keeping tabs on 17-year-old forward Davor Lovren. The Dinamo Zagreb youngster is a regular member of the Croatian Under-17 side and played at the UEFA Under-17 Championships in the summer and recently helped his nation to the quarter finals of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Chile.

Davor Lovren is of course the younger brother of Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren, with The Reds also apparently keeping tabs on the player.

Celtic would be bringing in an excellent talent if they did indeed get their hands on the Dinamo forward and it would be a real sign of their commitment to the future.

But if Liverpool are as interested as it is being reported than Celtic will find it hard to keep him away from his big brother at Anfield.
