Arsenal beat Sunderland on Saturday to go second in the table.
The Gunners moved up to second in the table with a 3-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.
It was a big result for them as they ended a disappointing run, while it also meant they went one point ahead of Manchester City after their loss to Stoke City.
The title race is wide open, though, with Leicester City currently leading the way on 32 point and Manchester United only three points adrift in fourth place.
And Ramsey says he is expecting a tight race this season, with all of the teams taking points off each other.
"It was important to get back to winning ways, close the gap at the top and it was nice to do it in front of our own fans,” he told BBC Sport.
“Everyone is going to be taking points off each other - it is going to be tight all the way through - and we have to try and make the most of this busy period coming up."
Given where Arsenal are in the league at this stage, there is no denying they are title contenders this season.
However, December will surely be a big month for them, with everyone waiting to see how they will cope with having lost several of their key men to injury.
Gunners fans will be hoping that the squad players that stepped up against Sunderland can do the same going forward.
