Pulls made the comments ahead of the Premier League clash between the Baggies and Tottenham at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

“They’ve (Tottenham) got outstanding players,” the West Brom manager told The Birmingham Mail. “One example has been Dembele, he’s been outstanding this year.

"A couple of managers have had him and struggled with him. But he’s got wonderful ability and talent and for me is one of the outstanding players.

“(Tottenham head coach Mauricio) Pochettino has cleared his mind in respect of the way he plays and he looks a top player now.”

Dembele, who has been on the books of Tottenham since 2012, has been playing well this season and has been one of the best players for the North London outfit.

The versatile midfielder has scored two goals and created 10 chances in 11 Premier League appearances this campaign.

The Belgium international has a pass accuracy of 87% and a shot accuracy of 75%, and has won nine headers, 33 dribbles and 34 tackles.

Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 25 points from 14 matches.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are just two points behind North London rivals Arsenal, who are currently fourth and occupy the final Champions League spot.
