The legendary striker was visiting the club academy this evening.

The word legend is overused in modern football but there is little doubt that Robbie Fowler is certainly just that at Liverpool.

Fowler burst onto the scene as a lethal striker with a rocket-propelled left foot back in 1993. He went on to earn the moniker 'god' during his time at Anfield, where he scored 183 goals in 369 appearances for the club over two separate spells.

He left the club for the second time in 2007, joining Cardiff City. He then went on to have a journeyman's end to his career - playing for Blackburn Rovers, North Queensland Fury, Perth Glory and Muangthong United before officially retiring in January this year after nearly three years out of the game.

Now the 40-year-old has posted a picture of himself back at Liverpool's academy - which has produced such talents as himself, Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher:

Have a guess where I am........ Correct

Liverpool currently have a fresh batch of talented youngsters coming through the ranks and many of them will be aspiring to be held in the same esteem as this former striker was during his time at Anfield.
