Portuguese international forward Nelson Oliveira has been in excellent and match-winning form for Nottingham Forest in recent weeks. He scored the winner against Derby County in the East Midlands derby and netted twice against Reading at the weekend in a 3-1 win.
He is finally starting to hit the net with regularity after being wasteful in his first few appearances for the club.
He will be hoping to continue his good form for Forest and has suggested one reason why. Speaking to the BBC Nottingham Sport Facebook page he suggested what would be his perfect season:
"For Christmas I want to win all the games for December. For the season to be perfect (I must) go hard with Nottingham Forest and play Euro '16.
"For me it's my dream this season and if I can do that and help Nottingham Forest and go with the national team to Euro '16 for me is season 10. The perfect season."
Olivieira has been in and out of the Portugal national team in recent times after struggling for fitness and form in loan spells at Swansea City, Stades Rennais and Deportivo la Coruna.
He was however in their most recent squad and Portugal are not exactly blessed in the striking position.
With that in mind, if Oliveira can keep up this current form, he is looking likely to be on his way to France next summer as part of the Portugal team.
If he can fire Forest to success as well, then he will have his perfect campaign.
