West Brom will take on Tottenham at The Hawthorns in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Owen seems to suggest that Spurs will be favourites heading into the encounter, but he has not ruled out the prospect of the game ending in a draw.
“West Brom have lost four of their seven home games, and it could be defeat number five as I take Tottenham to nick a tight one 1-0 or 2-1,” the former Newcastle United striker wrote on Colossusbets.com.
“Tottenham have built their impressive start to the season largely on their unbeaten home form, but they have only lost once on the road – an opening-day 1-0 defeat at Man Utd – and they just look a very solid outfit, with a fair bit of class thrown in.
“However, I can’t rule out a draw – Tottenham have shared the points in half of their league games – so 1-1 goes in my Colossus perm, too.”
West Brom will head into the match against Tottenham on the back of a 1-1 draw with West Ham United away from home at the Boleyn Ground in London.
The Baggies are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from 14 matches.
Tony Pulis’s side are eight points above the relegation zone and appear to be pushing for a mid-table finish this season.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are currently fifth in the Premier League table with 25 points from 14 matches.
Spurs are very much in the running for a top-four finish this campaign and are just two points behind fourth-place Arsenal.
With a little bit of luck, the North London outfit could even find themselves challenging for the league title in the final months of the season.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are just four points behind leaders Manchester City in the standings at the moment.
