West Ham United forward Enner Valencia has posted on social media, showing himself working hard in the gym as he steps up his comeback from injury.
Valencia damaged his ankle during West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Everton, but it seems that his return to fitness is not too far away.
The Ecuadorian is currently working on his physical conditioning, and the London Evening Standard suggests that he could be back on the pitch before the end of 2015.
Valencia’s time at West Ham so far has been blighted with injury, and he has missed much of this season due to his struggles to find fitness.
The 26-year-old has played just three times under Slaven Bilic so far, and he will hope that he can stay fit for a prolonged period of time when he does return to action again.
Valencia showed glimpses of his quality last season, and he has the potential to be a key player for the Hammers as the campaign progresses.
Valencia is not the only West Ham player out through injury at the moment, though, as they also have Dimitri Payet and Diafra Sakho on the treatment table, leaving their attacking options looking slim.
