Report: Ravel Morrison's move to Queens Park Rangers plunged into doubt

Queens Park Rangers are reportedly set to announce Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as their new manager in the next few days.

According to the Daily Mirror, the change of manager at Queens Park Rangers could see the club end their chase of Ravel Morrison.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder had reportedly been on Chris Ramsey’s wishlist in January, but it seems that any deal is now unlikely.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is reportedly set to be announced as QPR boss, and the Dutchman is set to look elsewhere during his first transfer window in charge.

Morrison is said to be keen on a return to England in the new-year, and Lazio are willing to sanction a deal.

However, the Italian club will demand a £750,000 fee for the England youth international, as they want to recoup some money on the youngster.

Morrison only joined Lazio during the summer transfer window, but he has failed to make an impact in Seria A.

The former Manchester United man has made just one start in the last six months, and he has failed to settle in a new country.

If Morrison does return to England, he will come back with a point to prove, after struggling to play much first team football in recent seasons.

Morrison had a loan spell at QPR back in 2014, where he scored six times in 15 appearances, so the club know all about his talents.
