Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino admits that he has been surprised by Heung-Min Son’s sense of humour.
Son was brought to Spurs during the summer transfer window, but he has taken little time settling in at White Hart Lane.
The South Korea international has quickly become the club’s joker in the changing room, and Pochettino has suggested that Son has helped to improve the atmosphere within the camp.
Mauricio: "Son has surprised us because he’s very funny! He has a very clever humour. It’s a pleasure to work with the players."— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) December 2, 2015
As well as making an impact off the field, Son has also made a huge impression while playing for his new club.
The 23-year-old has also helped to enhance Tottenham’s attacking quality, and he has quickly become part of their starting line-up.
Son has already broken into Mauricio Pochettino’s favoured team, and he has played 11 times, scoring on three occasions.
Son’s energy has also caught the eye, and it has meant that he has slotted in seamlessly with Pochettino’s demanding system.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man will be aiming to maintain his high standards as Spurs seek to stretch their unbeaten run in the Premier League over the coming weeks.
