Andrew Robertson says Hull's clash with Leeds is the big one

Hull City and Leeds United go head-to-head this weekend.

Hull City player Andrew Robertson has been looking ahead to the weekend clash against Leeds United in an interview with the Tigers’ official website.

Robertson scored against Manchester City in the Capital One Cup earlier this week but his strike was a mere consolation as the Blues ran out 4-1 winners on the night. However, rather than being downhearted the 21-year-old is targeting a return to winning ways against Leeds on Saturday.

Hull have lost back-to-back matches against City and Derby County and Steve Bruce’s side will not want to make it three in a row when they visit Elland Road.

That said, Leeds are seeking to avoid their own hat-trick of defeats having lost to Rotherham United and Queens Park Rangers since the return to domestic action following the last international break.

Speaking to hullcitytigers.com, Robertson said, “The big one is on Saturday against Leeds and that is where we need to bounce back to try and get a win away from home.

“It’s certainly one to look forward to and I’m sure it’ll be a great game.”

Hull are currently fourth in the Championship table, one point below Derby and Middlesbrough and three points behind current league leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
