Liverpool produced a scintillating display to thrash Southampton 6-1 away from home and qualify for the Capital One Cup semi-finals.
Southampton's performance defensively left a lot to be desired, but that should take nothing away from an outstanding performance from Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp is already looking like a magician for the way he has turned the team's form around since replacing Brendan Rodgers, with even Divock Origi bagging a hat-trick.
The performance had ex-Reds swooning. Former midfielder Patrik Berger paid the team the ultimate compliment, comparing them to the reigning Champions League winners.

It was the sort of night which makes other teams sit up and take notice, and was achieved with Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke sitting on the bench, and Philippe Coutinho out injured.
The game delighted Jamie Carragher too, who took to Twitter to express his satisfaction when there were two goals left still to be scored, also jokingly referencing the fact he will be no longer working with Gary Neville no more, after his Sky colleague was appointed as Valencia boss.
