The Hammers take on Manchester United, looking to turn around their current poor form, with the East London side winless in their last three games.
A trip to Manchester would have been a daunting one for Slaven Bilic’s side in the past, but their form on the road this season means that is a distant memory.
With wins away at Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool under their belts this season, they are a confident side on the road, and Ogbonna says they are preparing for the game without any fear of their opponents.
“We have to look forward to the next game, a big game at Old Trafford,” he told whufc.com.
“We need all the support, not just of the team, but of our fans. We have another chance to do better.”
“Any fear? No, we’re not afraid, because this is our job. This is our passion, so we have to prepare everything without being afraid.”
Given their performances on the road so far this season, there is certainly no reason for West Ham to fear a trip to Manchester United this season.
Van Gaal’s side have been far from threatening this season, with them seriously lacking a goal scoring threat.
Aside from that, the Hammers away form has been superb with them picking up ten points on the road so far, just two points fewer than the best away side Leicester City.
They haven’t had much luck in their last two away games though, losing to Tottenham and Watford, and will be keen to turn that around against United.
