Leicester are a side who enjoy playing on the front-foot, and Ranieri has been determined to ensure that they open games positively in order to assert their authority.
His side managed to do that against Manchester United in their latest outing, when Jamie Vardy scored early on, but they let their lead slip and could only claim a 1-1 draw.
And Albrighton said: “We go into every game saying we need to start well and get the opposition on the back foot.
“We did that and got the goal early on. If we could have held out until half time then who knows, it could have been a different game.”
Leicester’s match against United was an evenly contested one, and it could have gone either way.
Vardy’s goal raised hopes that Leicester would take the three points, but a Bastian Schweinsteiger header stopped them claiming victory.
Despite letting a lead slip, Leicester have not been too disappointed with the result – as it extends their excellent start to the season.
Ranieri has still only lost one Premier League match as Leicester boss, and he has guided the side into second position in England’s top flight.
