Could Manchester City soon bring another talented teenager to the club?

According to a report from Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Manchester City are one of the clubs interested in signing Ajax youngster Riechedly Bazoer.

The 19-year-old midfielder has a contract with the Dutch side until the summer of 2020 and he has featured 20 times for them this season, scoring one goal and providing four assists in the process. But it is now being suggested that he has plenty of offers on the table to accept a new challenge elsewhere having recently made his debut for the Netherlands.

According to Mundo Deportivo, City have already made an offer to Bazoer as they bid to beat the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg to the teenager’s signature.

City may have a fight on their hands to bring the highly-rated play to the Etihad Stadium but they certainly have the money to compete with the great and the good of the game and they are now making waves not only domestically but also in Europe.

Only time will tell what Bazoer decides but City are clearly not settling for what they already have and are constantly looking to strengthen and sign the next generation of superstars.
