Jack Price has forced his way into Wolverhampton Wanderers' first team in recent weeks.

Kenny Jackett has told the Express and Star that he believes Jack Price can become a very important player for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Price started this season on the periphery of Wolves’ squad, and he did not make his first Championship appearance until the middle of September.

However, since stepping into Wolves’ first team, the central midfielder has excelled, and Jackett has been impressed by the 22-year-old’s improvement.

"Jack Price has come back very well and strong, that’s credit to Jack," Jackett said.

"I think there’s a lot of personality in Jack Price and he can be a very good player for us.

"His reading of the game and his early passes are very good. Overcoming the physical side is something that he’s doing now."

At the start of the season, Price was playing a backup role to Conor Coady, but he has fully established his place in the starting line-up now.

Price has always been an excellent passer, and his development in the physical side of the game has enhanced his performances.

Price has now made 12 appearances for Wolves, and he has started every match the club have played in November.

Unfortunately, despite his good form, Price hasn’t managed to improve Wolves’ results.

The Midlands outfit are still languishing in mid-table, and are winless in their last four matches.
