Report: Everton and Liverpool interested in Real Madrid’s Cheryshev

The Russian winger wants to leave the Bernabeu in the January transfer window.

Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev is eyeing a move away from the club in the January transfer window, reports Spanish newspaper Marca.

The Russian is not satisfied with his game time this season, having only managed 58 minutes under Rafa Benitez so far this term.

That will now reportedly lead to him seeking a move away from the Bernabeu, with the 24-year-old firmly aware of his diminishing chances of heading to Euro 2016 in France with his native Russia.

His agent, Gines Carvajal, has already been contacted by several clubs about the player’s availability according to Marca, despite him not being available in the Champions League.

There is interest in the Premier League as well, with duo Everton and Liverpool, who have both been credited with an interest in the player in the past, still interested in him.

They would face competition in Spain though, with Villareal more than keen to have him back after his impressive loan spell last season.

Valencia also tried to sign him in the summer before Benitez convinced him to stay, and could try to convince him again in January, if Marca are to be believed.
