The Leeds United youngster impressed for the under-21s this week.
Leeds United’s under-21 coach Paul Hart has been speaking to LUTV after his side lost 2-0 to Crewe Alexandra in their latest league match.
The young Whites side included summer addition Ronaldo Vieira, who signed a two-year scholarship deal back in September after impressing on trial, and Hart reserved special praise for him along with right-back Lewie Coyle and substitute striker Malik Wilks.
Speaking after the match in comments later published by Leeds TV's’ official Twitter account, Hart said, “There were some good performances, Lewie Coyle, Mailk when he came on, Ronaldo – he played 60 minutes on Saturday he’s playing again 60, 70 minutes today for the first time in three months so that was good. There were some positives.”
Ronaldo Vieira was always going to inspire the imagination of the Leeds faithful with a name like that but it remains to be seen if he will have a significant impact during his time at Elland Road.
He is, however, starting as he will mean to go on and he is certainly one to watch, as is Coyle, the young right-back who has everything in his locker to be a future first-team regular at the club.
A loan move may not have gone through as expected last week but expect him to make waves sooner rather than later.
