A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United

Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben has ruled out a move to Manchester United, according to the Express.

The winger has been linked with an Old Trafford switch ever since Louis van Gaal took charge in 2014.

Robben, who already has Premier League experience from his time at Chelsea, has looked sharp for Pep Guardiola’s side after making a recent return from injury.

And the Dutchman insists that he has no plans to swap Munich for Manchester any time soon, saying: “I never thought about a transfer. I am happy in Munich – my family is happy in Munich.”

Meanwhile, Ander Herrera has played down talk linking him with a move away from United.

The Spaniard was said to be unhappy at Old Trafford due to a lack of playing time under Van Gaal.

Herrera has featured sporadically this season, but has shined when called upon either in central midfield or behind the striker.

But the former Athletic Bilbao man posted a picture on social media reaffirming his commitment to the club, with a pull quote reading: “I don’t want this dream to finish. I have to play as well as possible if I want to play as long as I can at this club.”
