The Liverpool teenager has been plying his trade in League One this season.
The 18-year-old is predominantly a left winger although he can also play on the opposite flank or as an attacking midfielder if required and after seven appearances for the League One side he has now returned permanently to Anfield.
Wilson is rated as one of the most exciting young prospects at Liverpool and he has been generating a buzz for quite some time, coming to prominence when he became Wales’s youngest ever senior player aged just 16 years and 207 days.
Wilson is yet to add to that cap but he is expected to become a future first-team star at Liverpool and his loan spell will have done him plenty of good.
The terms of the loan meant he was able to play for the Reds’ under-21 side this season but he is now back at Anfield for good and looking to impress manager Jurgen Klopp.
