Aaron Cresswell claims Adrian saved West Ham United against West Bromwich Albion

West Ham Upton Park

West Ham United drew 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion in their latest outing.

Aaron Cresswell has called Adrian a ‘fantastic keeper’ on West Ham United’s official site.

Adrian has been in wonderful form for West Ham over the past two seasons, and he has established himself as a fans’ favourite at Upton Park.

And Cresswell has joined the list of the Spaniard’s admirers, after he pulled off a wonderful save during West Ham’s match against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.

The Hammers were only able to pick up a 1-1 draw against Tony Pulis’ side on Sunday, but they could have fallen to a defeat if it wasn’t for Adrian’s heroics.

The 29-year-old stopper was called into action on regular occasions in the second-half, and one save stood out above the rest – as he stopped a Salomon Rondon header from close-range.

“Adrian is a fantastic keeper and as everyone knows he has pulled off some unbelievable saves,” Cresswell said.

“He had no right getting to that ball but he has saved us a point there. But we are still disappointed that we could not come away with all three points.”

West Ham’s draw with West Brom has seen them slip down to eighth place in the Premier League table.

Slaven Bilic’s side made a blistering start to their campaign, but they have failed to win any of their last four matches.

It has been a disappointing run of results for the Hammers, but things are not set to get any easier for them, as they face Manchester United in their next fixture.
