The Arsenal duo could be set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up injuries against Norwich.
Both players had to be substituted off in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Norwich City, with the Frenchman heading off before the ten-minute mark.
Those two injuries are the latest of a number within the Gunners squad in the last month, with a several of their stars having been absent for various lengths of time.
The loss of Sanchez in particular could be a big blow for Arsene Wenger’s side given how the Chilean has performed this season, but Bellerin says there is no need to worry.
“I have said it before, there is great depth in the team,” he told arsenal.com.
“There are a lot of young players in the team waiting to come through, and we have a lot of quality training with us every day.”
“We don’t need to worry about [the injuries to Alexis and Koscielny]. The only thing we need to do is go out onto the pitch with the right mentality, it does not matter who we play.”
Losing Sanchez for any extended period of time has the potential to derail Arsenal’s potential title challenge.
His goalscoring ability in particular would be sorely missed, with the Chilean currently their second highest goalscorer with six goals to his name already, only Olivier Giroud has more with seven.
With the crucial Christmas period now coming up, and the Gunners just two points behind leaders Manchester City, the forward’s absence would be hard felt at the Emirates.
