The Liverpool legend was back training with the club.
Steven Gerrard was pictured training at Melwood on Monday afternoon and the images will no doubt make every Liverpool fan smile.
A playing return for the Anfield legend looks unlikely but his expertise on the training ground will be a huge help for the current Liverpool squad.
Smiling and hugging playing & coaching staff, Gerrard looked like he'd never left the Reds.
The 35-year-old was pictured alongside boss Jurgen Klopp, too, with the duo perhaps talking tactics and sharing their experiences of life at Liverpool.
And Gerrard was also pictured with striker Daniel Sturridge, with the pair playing a key role during the Merseyside outfit's title challenge of 2013/14.
Next up for the Reds is a Capital One Cup quarter-final against Southampton before a trip to Newcastle United and, based on current form, Klopp's men will be heavy favourites for that Premier League clash.
Gerrard himself will have fond memories of playing the Magpies, with Liverpool scoring a number of goals against them over the years.
Will there be a repeat this time around, especially with a bit of the 35-year-old midfielder's influence around the training ground beforehand?
