Mousa Dembele believes Totteham Hotspur's squad are together on and off the field.

Mousa Dembele has told the Guardian that Tottenham Hotspur have made vast improvements this season.

Spurs have gone unbeaten in their last 13 Premier League matches, and they drew 0-0 with Chelsea in their most recent outing.

Their blistering start has pushed them to the verge of the Champions League qualification spaces, and Dembele believes that the squad are more together than ever.

“I think everybody can see our mentality and the way we are playing are different,” he said. “I don’t want to say it but we just feel we are now men. We are more confident and we are more of a group. That is something we have worked on for a long time. So we are really happy with how it’s going.”

Dembele’s form has been one of the major reasons behind Tottenham’s wonderful opening to the new campaign.

The former Fulham man started the season on the fringes of Spurs’ first team, but he has forced his way into the starting line-up in recent months.

Dembele has arguably been Tottenham’s best performer over the entirety of November, and he will be hoping to keep his place, even with a number of players returning from injury.

Tottenham are next in action on Saturday, when they travel to the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion, and if they are able to pick up the victory in that fixture then they could move into the top-four.
