Man United captain Wayne Rooney gets trolled after giving this awkward answer

Wayne Rooney

Oh that is kinda hilarious isn't it! Poor Wayne, he can't catch a break.

He may have broken England's all-time scoring record but things aren't going too well for Wayne Rooney with Manchester United this season.

The 30-year-old has only scored twice for Louis van Gaal's side in the Premier League and has looked well off the pace of his England rivals Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy.

And his performance at the weekend, during Man United's drab 1-1 draw with Leicester city on Saturday afternoon, was pretty dire if we're honest.

In fact, he was so bad he managed no shots on target, no crosses and completed just 70% of his passes against the Foxes, leaving Manchester United fans wondering when he's going to actually turn up for his club this campaign.

With all that going on, we're not entirely sure about the timing of an answer that Rooney gave during a Q&A with Sport Magazine.

When asked what super power he'd like to have, Rooney gave a very ironic answer...  "To be invisible." Oh boy! And as you can imagine, plenty of fans on Twitter were quick to stick the knife into the Man United captain.
