Two Newcastle players have won awards - and fans are not happy.
Dutch full back Janmaat, who joined the Magpies from Feyenoord in the summer of 2014 following Mathieu Debuchy's move to Arsenal, has clinched the North East Player of the Year award for 2015.
Meanwhile, forward Perez has been named North East Young Player of the Year award, having impressed in his first year since joining from Tenerife 18 months ago.
Newcastle confirmed the awards on Twitter on Sunday night, congratulating both of their players for their success, as seen below.

However, the Magpies received a ferocious backlash from furious Newcastle fans, who are far from happy that their players have been rewarded during a tough time for the club.
Saturday's 5-1 defeat away at Crystal Palace means that Newcastle sit second bottom of the Premier League table, and with just two wins to their name this season, the Magpies are already in a relegation fight.
Manager Steve McClaren is under huge pressure despite only being appointed in the summer, and fans are disgrunteld with the players, who they feel don't care enough about the club, and don't try hard enough on the pitch.
As a result, Newcastle fans took to Twitter after reading about Janmaat and Perez's awards, and stated that no Newcastle players deserve to be rewarded, with the club in such dire straits right now.
Here are some of the reactions from Newcastle fans after Janmaat and Perez won awards on Sunday...
