Confirmed Aston Villa Under-21 line-up v Blackburn: Adama starts, Grealish misses out

Adama Traore and Libor Kozak start for Aston Villa's Under-21's against Blackburn.

Here is how Aston Villa's Under-21's will line up for their game against Blackburn Rovers this evening...

Aston Villa starting line-up: Watkins, Leggett, Mason, Webb, Kinsella, Traore, Lyden, Hale, Sellars, Hepburn-Murphy, Kozak.

Aston Villa substitutes: Sarkic, Suliman, Cowans, Hayes, McKirdy.

Aston Villa's Under-21's will be hoping to give fans something to shout about this evening as they take on Blackburn Rovers.

The club's first team lost 3-2 to Watford on Saturday afternoon, and with just five points from 14 games, Remi Garde's men are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.

Tonight, the club's youngsters have the chance to show that the future is still bright at Villa Park, as they face Blackburn Rovers at 7pm.

Winger Adama Traore, who had a small cameo role against Watford on Saturday, starts out wide as Villa look to get him up to speed, whilst striker Libor Kozak - who has become something of a forgotten man at Villa, starts up front in a bid to impress Garde.

Teenager Rushian Hepburn-Murphy also starts, but Jack Grealish isn't playing despite being sent down to the Under-21 squad last week.

Highly-rated defender Easah Suliman is on the bench, along with goalkeeper Matija Sarkic, who arrived at Villa as a summer signing.
