The biggest banking glitch ever ?

Broken Computer

Some bank clients said to have got quite a shock.

A bank in Hawaii is blaming a computer glitch for giving its customers quite a surprise on their bank statements.

Fox News reports that Honolulu resident Angela Kwong said she was checking her account online when she was shocked to find that she had an outstanding balance of more than $1.4tril dollars.

"I called the customer service line, and they said the system was down," Kwong said. "Surprisingly, they said they couldn't take my number down and [were] not able to return my phone call. And he said there's nothing he could do."

As it turns out, Kwong wasn’t the only one with an over-inflated outstanding (debit) balance. Other customers reported the same thing.
