The Belgian defender has singled out his goalkeeper after the 0-0 draw with Chelsea.
The North London outfit stretched their unbeaten Premier League record to 13 games with a 0-0 draw against Chelsea on Sunday.
Both sides had chances to win the clash at White Hart Lane, but Lloris kept his side in the game with a stunning save from an Eden Hazard volley in the second half.
The result means it is another clean sheet for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, with their excellent season to date being based around a stubborn defensive effort.
Alderweireld was quick to single Lloris out in the aftermath of the game, stating that the French stopper was having quite the campaign.
“That’s his quality - there are a lot of good goalkeepers in the Premier League but its more difficult to make one good save when its needed,” the Belgian told the club’s official website.
“It was a wonderful save and it helped us - he is playing wonderful this season.”
Tottenham will now have a much-needed week off before taking on Tony Pulis’ West Brom side at The Hawthorns next weekend.
The Lilywhites remain four points off top spot and will be rueing not beating Chelsea, especially after North London rivals Arsenal dropped points away to Norwich.
