Peterborough fans react on Twitter to Martin Samuelsen's loan debut

The West Ham United youngster made his loan debut for Peterborough United at the weekend.

West Ham United fans did not have to wait long to see what Martin Samuelsen could do following his arrival from Manchester City, with the teenage midfielder impressing for the first-team during pre-season.

But when the Premier League campaign kicked off the 18-year-old was rarely seen, making the bench against Liverpool but otherwise featuring for the Hammers’ under-21s.

Two cameo appearances in the Europa League gave a tantalising glimpse of his ability and now he has been sent out on loan to League One Peterborough United, for whom he made his debut on Saturday.

Samuelsen came off the bench in the 67th minute with Posh already 2-0 up but he set up another and his temporary side ultimately ran out 4-0 winners against Scunthorpe United.
