Ibrox stars past and present react to Rangers victory, including Oduwa, Lovenkrands

Rangers beat St. Mirren 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers qualified for the Petrofac Training Cup final on Saturday afternoon after a comfortable 4-0 victory over St. Mirren at Ibrox.

The Gers had come in for criticism after last Saturday's 1-1 draw against Livingston, but hit back in style with a thumping win over St. Mirren.

Jason Holt continued his fine goalscoring form by opening the scoring in the first half, and it took until deep in to the second half to seal the win.

Kenny Miller, Martyn Waghorn and Dean Shiels added goals late on to seal the win for Rangers, meaning they have now advanced in to the final of the Petrofac Training Cup.

After the game, a number of Rangers stars took to Twitter in order to react to the result, with goalkeeper Wes Foderingham admitting that Rangers deserve to be in the final.

Defender Dominic Ball celebrated the win but looked ahead to the midweek game against Dumbarton, whilst right back James Tavernier said he needs to play better than he did against St. Mirren.

Winger Nathan Oduwa admitted he was 'buzzing' to have made the final, but was also turning his attention to the game against Dumbarton.

As well as the current Ibrox heroes, a number of former Rangers players also took to Twitter to celebrate the result, with Peter Lovenkrands and Dado Prso passing on messages to fans.
