West Ham United drew 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion this weekend but what did Hammers fans make of Angelo Ogbonna's contribution?
West Ham United’s players would have been hoping for a victory a week on from their 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, but the Hammers had to make do with a 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.
Mauro Zarate opened the scoring for Slaven Bilic’s side in the 17th minute but an own-goal from Winston Reid shortly before the hour-mark ensured the Baggies left Upton Park with a share of the spoils.
The result leaves West Ham with 22 points from their 14 matches while West Brom are four points and six places worse off at this stage of the campaign.
One West Ham player who received plenty of plaudits both during and after the match was centre-back Angelo Ogbonna.
The summer signing returned to the starting line-up for the first time since September and he impressed playing alongside Reid.
After the match we took to Twitter to see what West Ham fans thought of Ogbonna’s performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
Thought Ogbonna was solid today

FWIW, we were an awful lot better coming out from the back today. Helped by having Reid and Ogbonna who can play with both feet no end.

One plus for me is Ogbonna

Thought ogbonna was immense today. Lanzini was superb in the first half. But pulis stuck yacob on him second. And just didn't get the ball

Centre backs: Reid - Been one of our best players this season, thought he was good again. Ogbonna - Handled Rondon well, showed his class.
