Tottenham Hotspur drew 0-0 with the Blues at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea came away from White Hart Lane with a 0-0 draw when they faced Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

And you can't help but feel Jose Mourinho was delighted with the outcome.

Considering Chelsea's struggles this season - and Tottenham's at times irresistible form - this was a game you always sensed Mourinho would adopt a defensive approach for.

Sitting back and looking for the counter worked perfectly for the Portuguese coach, although Tottenham won't complain too much with a point against the Blues, either.

Former Spurs man Graham Roberts took to Twitter during the game to comment on Mourinho's tactics.

And former forward Rodney Marsh also joked that Tottenham must get used to 'lower teams' going to the Lane with the sole purpose of earning a point:

Next up for Tottenham is a Premier League trip to the Hawthorns to face West Brom, where they may face a similar approach from a Tony Pulis side even though they will be at home.

Now that Mauricio Pochettino's men have set out their marker as an attacking team, opponents will be lining up to try and stifle them.
