The MOTD presenter was not impressed when Alexis got injured.
The Canaries deserved to come away from the game with at least a point after an excellent display against a rather below par Arsenal side.
Mesut Ozil gave them the lead but some horrible defending gifted Norwich their equaliser.
Defender Gabriel came into the game after an injury forced off Laurent Koscielny. He got bullied off the ball by Lewis Grabban who then slotted the ball into the back of the net.
It was a poor piece of play that saw a quick-witted tweet from BBC Match of the Day presenter and former Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Gary Lineker:
Gabri...hell!— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) November 29, 2015
But he was not joking when it came to Alexis Sanchez.
You can't play someone, especially your best player, if he's knowingly got a 'dodgy hamstring'.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) November 29, 2015
The Chilean carried a hamstring injury into the game but Arsene Wenger decided to risk playing him despite a huge game in the Champions League next week v Olympiakos in Greece.
Risking their best player in such circumstances seemed criminal to Lineker and plenty of Arsenal fans.
Arsenal fans will now be sweating on their talisman's fitness ahead of the game in ten days time.
