Fabio Borini reacts on Twitter to Sunderland win

Sunderland defeated Stoke City 2-0 at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Sunderland striker Fabio Borini has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Stoke City at home on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Cats got the better of 10-man Stoke 2-0 at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League.

Patrick van Aanholt put Sunderland in the lead in the 82nd minute, and Duncan Watmore secured the three points with the second just two minutes later.

Italy international striker Borini has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Stadium of Light, hosts Sunderland had 48% of the possession, took 18 shots of which just five were on target, and earned nine corners.

Sunderland are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from 14 matches, two points above the relegation zone.

Sam Allardyce’s side will return to league action next weekend when they take on Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London.
