Celtic travel to Inverness Caledonian Thistle this week as Ronny Deila’s side bids to open up a seven-point gap between themselves and Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
It has been a terrible week for Celtic so far, with the Bhoys drawing a blank against Kilmarnock in the league before seeing their hopes of Europa League success ended with a 2-1 defeat to Dutch club Ajax on Thursday.
Celtic’s European exploits have been nothing short of woeful this season and that has seen the pressure increase considerably on Deila.
A convincing, and entertaining, victory against Inverness will certainly be a step in the right direction but the Bhoys really need to go on a fine run now to ensure Deila has the wind beneath his sails in the weeks and months ahead.
In contrast Inverness are eighth in the table right now with 17 points from a possible 45 and they will have to be at their very best to overcome the league leaders this afternoon.
