Trevor Sinclair reacts on Twitter to Sunderland win, sends message to Allardyce

The former Premier League midfielder has nothing but praise for the Black Cats boss.

BBC pundit Trevor Sinclair has taken to Twitter to heap praise on Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce after he guided the Wearside outfit to a 2-0 victory over Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Cats registered back-to-back wins by beating the Potters at the Stadium of Light and Sinclair singled manager Allardyce out for praise on social media.

Sunderland still have a long way to go in their battle against relegation but have already made big strides under Big Sam.

As Sinclair suggests, Allardyce does what he says on the 'packet,' and is certainly working his magic at Sunderland right now.

Looking at how bad the Black Cats were coping earlier this season - especially when you consider the fact Dick Advocaat is not a bad manager - Big Sam has already worked miracles to get Sunderland to where they are now.

This is exactly what the 61-year-old is a specialist at: getting struggling sides back to basics in an attempt to keep them up. There is a certain ceiling for Allardyce and he has struggled to admit that.

But this is his forte - something he should not be ashamed of. It's definitely helping Sunderland right now...
