Tom Huddlestone and David Meyler react on Twitter to Hull’s defeat to Derby

Hull City suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Derby County in the Championship on Friday evening.

Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Derby County at home on Friday evening.

The Tigers failed to return to winning ways in the Championship as they went down 2-0 to Derby at the KC Stadium.

Jacob Butterfield put the visiting Rams in the lead in the 18th minute and doubled the advantage on 34 minutes.

Huddlestone has admitted his disappointment at the final result, but his Hull teammate and fellow midfielder David Meyler remains upbeat.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the KC Stadium, hosts Hull had 62% of the possession, took 23 shots of which just two were on target, and earned 10 corners.

Visitors Derby had only 38% of the possession, took nine shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners.

Hull are second in the Championship table at the moment with 35 points from 18 matches.

Derby are at the top of the standings for the time being with 36 points from 18 games.
