Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons has responded positively on social networking site Twitter to Olivier Kemen’s message about playing together again.
Aarons and midfielder Kemen played for the Newcastle youth team before the latter moved to Lyon in the summer transfer window.
It seems that the duo have maintained their friendship and both want to play with each other again.
Newcastle are struggling for survival in the Premier League at the moment and are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Steve McClaren’s side are currently 17th in the league table with 10 points from 13 matches, just a point above the bottom three.
Meanwhile, Lyon are having a good season in Ligue 1 and are on course to finishing in the top three.
Hubert Fournier’s side are second in the league table at the moment with 25 points from 15 matches.
