Norwich have done OK on their return the Premier League, picking up 12 points from 13 matches, and their last encounter at home ended in a narrow 1-0 victory over Swansea City.

In what could be a low-scoring affair, both teams will look to playmakers Wes Hoolahan and Mesut Ozil to create that spark, and both have shown their capabilities already this season.

With 16 assists combined, they are certainly in superb form – but who has performed better thus far?

The German World Cup winner outshines his upcoming opponent in five key areas, averaging more shots, key passes, touches, accurate passes and of course assists per Premier League encounter.

Ozil’s run of assisting at least one goal in his last seven successive league matches is both a club record and overall Premier League record, overtaking now-Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas.

While his performances have been better than Hoolahan’s, the former Blackpool player has still had a fantastic campaign for Norwich and he is widely regarded as their best player thus far.

He has five assists to his name and actually averages more take-ons and ball recoveries per match than Ozil. He will be integral to Norwich’s survival bid.
