No wins in six games - Zan Benedicic is struggling since leaving Leeds United

Elland Road Revie Stand

The Slovenian is at Como after being released by AC Milan.

Leeds United snapped up some fairly exciting looking transfers last summer, one of the most inspiring was that of Slovenian Zan Benedicic from AC Milan.

However, the attacking midfielder was not a player in luck at Elland Road.

The attacker arrived with big hopes as one of Milan’s top young talents and a Slovenian under-21 international.

He played just two games for Leeds however before injuring his knee. After undergoing knee surgery in November he was expected to return before the end of the season but he never did and his Leeds career will go down as that of a crock.

So what is he up to nowadays?

After plenty of speculation as to his next destination Benedicic is now playing for Serie B side Como.

The midfielder was released by Milan in the summer and is now playing for the recently promoted side.

However things have not exactly gone well.

He has played just six times for the club and is yet to be on the winning side once. Como are currently bottom of Serie B with eight points from 14 games and without a win in their last nine games.

Leeds do not looked to have missed out on this player.
