It has been a tough week for Aston Villa talent Jack Grealish.
The talented midfielder has been banished from the first-team after being pictured by national papers partying after a 4-0 defeat against Everton at the weekend.
It is not the first time he has courted controversy and it has seen him demoted by Villa boss Remi Garde.
Now his bad week has been topped off by FIFA.
They have confirmed that Grealish is still not eligible to play for England - despite being born and raised in Solihull.
Grealish was the centre of a tug-of-war between the Republic of Ireland and England in regards to his international allegiance.
He has represented Ireland at youth level but has decided to play for England. The FA have applied for his eligibility to be changed.
But, as reported by the Daily Mail, there has been a delay in the process.
Not that Grealish is likely to be in the England reckoning at the moment. His form this season has been poor and he needs to get back to his precocious best.
Hopefully things will soon start to look up for the Villa talent - as he is an excellent prospect for both Villa and England.
