Gary Lineker reacts on Twitter to Manchester United’s performance against Leicester

Manchester United have played out a 1-1 draw with Leicester City in the Premier League this evening.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Manchester United’s failure to win against Leicester City away from home this evening.

The Red Devils failed to return to winning ways, as they played out a 1-1 draw with Leicester at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.

England international striker Jamie Vardy put hosts Leicester in the lead in the 24th minute, but Bastian Schweinsteiger restored parity for United on the stroke of half time.

It was yet another performance from Louis van Gaal’s side which left much to be desired, and former Tottenham striker Lineker has made a sarcastic comment about it on Twitter.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the King Power Stadium, hosts Leicester had just 31% of the possession, took seven shots of which three were on target, and earned one corner.

United had 69% of the possession, took 10 shots of which just two were on target, and earned eight corners.
