Alex Pritchard reacts on Twitter to Jamie Vardy heroics, pundits sing praises

Jamie Vardy

The Tottenham Hotspur winger led the tributes to the Leicester City forward.

It's official: Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy has made history. His goal against Manchester United on Saturday evening means he has scored in 11 consecutive Premier League games.

And how well the Foxes man took his finish. Had you blinked for a second, you would have missed the 28-year-old send the ball home to give Leicester the lead against United.

Tottenham winger Alex Pritchard was one of the first to react on Twitter, expressing his delight for now England forward Vardy.

Pritchard hasn't enjoyed such luck himself with Tottenham, showing the potential to be a Premier League star but suffering bad injury luck and seeing several Spurs stars impress in his absence.

That didn't stop the Tottenham man from congratulating Vardy, though, and he certainly wasn't the only one.

Indeed, Michael Owen also took to social media to send a message to the Leicester hero.

And Rio Ferdinand congratulated Vardy while delivering an inspirational message to young footballers. How many more consecutive goals can the Leicester forward realistically score?

Next up for the Foxes is an away trip to Swansea City. Vardy has the confidence... he'll fancy his chances of netting there, too.
