Liverpool are in action on Sunday against Swansea City after a fairly busy and successful week.
After beating Manchester City at The Etihad last week 4-1 they took on Bordeaux in the Europa League last night and won the game 2-1.
So it would appear that plenty of the Liverpool first-team were not in full training at Melwood today. Most of the pictures from today's session showed the youngsters in action as Liverpool put their players through their paces.
Joao Teixeira, who had been linked with a loan move away from Liverpool in recent weeks, was in the session - after the loan window for the Football League passed without movement.
Then there is Allan Rodrigues de Souza. The Brazilian has been out on loan at Finnish side SJK until recently, where he helped the side win their first ever league title.
Other young lads such as Cameron Brannagan, Connor Randall, Ryan Fulton, Brad Smith and Jordan Rossiter also trained - but Divock Origi perhaps has the most to prove.
The Belgian has struggled to have an impact at the club since his arrival from Lille and has recently seen Roberto Firmino preferred as a starting striker.
