Danny Higginbotham has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Manchester United striker James Wilson’s loan move to Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 19-year-old England Under-21 international striker has joined Championship side Brighton on loan for the rest of the season.
Former United defender Higginbotham has admitted his surprise that United decided to let the teenager leave.
Wilson, who has been at United since 2010, has made two appearances for the Red Devils’ first team this season.
The youngster has struggled with injuries, and when fit has found his path to the first team blocked by the form of summer signing Anthony Martial.
Brighton are having a fabulous season and are on course to finishing in the top two of the Championship.
The Seagulls are second in the league table at the moment with 35 points from 17 matches, level on points with leaders Hull City and behind only on goal difference.
United fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the departure of Wilson.

@ManUtd Good luck to us winning anything with just two strikers, one of whom is a spent force.— Gary Matthews (@GaryJMatthews) November 26, 2015
@ManUtd Only just seen this. Striker sent on loan. Not like we needed one. We must be scoring 3 goals/game, or 2...or 1..? What's that? 0?— Manas (@ScholesEsque) November 26, 2015
